UAH Skipper Earns 300th Win


The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) defeated Delta State University, 5-1, on September 30, earning the 300th victory for head coach Chris Kranjc. Kranjc is in his first season at UAH after spending 17 years as the head coach at Hastings College in Nebraska, a powerhouse in NAIA soccer.

While at Hastings, Kranjc racked up a record of 297-67-21 while leading the Broncos to 11 NAIA national tournaments, and four tournament semifinals. They reached the NAIA finals twice, winning the NAIA title once in 2010. Kranjc is in his first year as head coach at UAH, an NCAA Division II school competing in the Gulf South Conference.
